The 1st stage captures large solid particles, protecting the more sensitive filters below and significantly extending their lifespan.
Average efficiency for particles of 0.4 μm: 40-60% (in accordance with EN 779)
This 2nd stage removes the remaining fine particles. The system features either an:
- H13 HEPA filter with a 99.95% efficiency for MPPS (Most Penetrating Particle Size), or the
- H14 HEPA filter for environments requiring ultra-pure air e.g. clean rooms, achieving an efficiency of 99.995%
Both H13 and H14 are compliant with EN 1822 standards.
* MPPS (Most Penetrating Particle Size) corresponds to the particle size at which the filter has a lower efficiency. The MPPS depends on the filter and the air flow, although usually it lies between 0.1-0.3 μm.
The 3rd and final filter stage absorbs harmful gas molecules using a highly porous carbon structure.
This system's efficiency is optimized by lower airflow rates, allowing fumes more time to diffuse and be fully absorbed.
