Yamaha SMT’s new programming auto-teach and parts database auto-setting assistance make SMT programming faster, simpler and more precise.
The auto-teach functions automate component-placement teaching, incl. X-Y alignment, mounting angle, polarity and board fiducial alignment.
With the YSUP-PG Visual Data Editor, the programmer can see a real-time board drawing and can perform
desktop trial mounting to see immediately how programs will perform.
The parts database auto-setting streamlines mounter setup by automatically adjusting for equivalent components from different manufacturers, even when package sizes differ.
This removes the need for manual corrections, ensures correct X-Y coordinates, reduces changeover time and optimizes end-of-line yield.
