Looking into 2026: new rental solution & more AI tools
As we move into the new year, our focus remains simple: supporting stable, efficient SMT production.
This spring, we will introduce X-ray component counters as a rental solution. The Seamark XC1000e X-ray component counter will be available for rental, giving you a flexible way to manage component counting when needed.
In 2026 also see even more AI-supported solutions becoming a part of modern SMT lines.
In SPI and AOI, AI can helps reduce false calls and support more consistent PCB inspection.
Across the SMT line, AI is increasingly used to monitor machine health, while modern pick & place machines already use AI-driven algorithms to improve accuracy and speed.
One of the key benefits is better data connection between machines and smarter material inventory management. Together, these improvements support more stable processes across your SMT production.
At the same time, it is important to remember that AI in SMT production in 2026 works best as a supporting tool.
It relies on good data and correct setup, and it does not replace experienced process engineers. Human expertise remains essential - especially for final validation, NPI, and complex fault analysis. Used well, AI helps teams work smarter, save time, improves workflow and reduces errors, while the people behind the line still make the critical decisions.
We look forward to sharing more in 2026 and to continuing our close collaboration.
2025 - a year of teamwork & innovation
2025 has been a year shaped by great partnerships and shared progress.
From service engineers keeping your lines running smoothly to our SMT specialists helping you find the right SMT solutions - we’ve seen how strong teamwork creates real results.
It’s also been a year of exciting developments in our showroom and across our portfolio.
Yamaha SMT launched new process-optimizing software features, the LM mounting head and an economy solder printer - all supporting higher quality and smoother workflows.
Our Storage Solutions range grew smarter too, with mobile SMD storage moving components closer to the line and better ways to store PCB accessories and small SMD batches.
We also introduced an inhouse feeder repair service and expanded our range of JBC soldering tools, ESD worktables, hand tools, footwear and chairs – helping you create safer and more efficient work environments.
Meanwhile, we welcomed new faces to the CORE-emt family, expanded training activities, and continued investing in even stronger support and logistics.
It’s been a year full of problem-solving, learning and plenty of coffee along the way ☕
